Juan Fernandez-Owner

Electrician & Journeyman

Ark Electrical founder and EE98 qualifying party.

Like most business owners Juan wears many hats: Systems designer, Project estimator, Permitting/NEC compliance, and Quality assurance. After eleven years of hands on experience in the trade, Juan launched Ark Electrical in 2019 with a clear mission: to bring Faith based honesty, reliability and quality electrical services to his fellow neighbors.

While Juan spends countless hours running Ark Electrical, he upholds his values for his faith and importance of family time.

When Juan is in "Dad" mode, he enjoys coaching baseball, working on the small farm and raising up his family to always do whats right in the eyes of the Lord.

Shawn Hoskinson

Senior Electrical Specialist

Shawn joined the Ark Electrical team in 2025 and has a background in commercial work. He has quickly become a cornerstone of our field operations. He is currently completing the final steps towards his journeyman license and will soon be on his way to tackling his own projects in his own truck. He has specialized in manufactured home services, EV charger installations, panel upkeep and upgrades. His attention to detail and order also does not go unnoticed by the many clients who have observed his work.

Shawn has also taken a liking to trouble shooting and constantly furthering his education of the NEC.

Outside of work when he is not focused or studying the NEC, he enjoys rock climbing in the east mountains, snowboarding, collecting Disney VHS tapes and exploring the countless hobbies he has.

Carter Paas

Apprentice Field Specialist

Carter is our newest dedicated and highly motivated addition to the Ark Electrical Team. After recently completing his formal schooling and earning his residential electrical certificate, he has effectively brought his technical training directly into the field showing his eagerness to learn and further develop his skills as a journeyman apprentice.

Carter has demonstrated great customer service, safely executing his duties, maintains a clean and tidy work environment and has shown great organization and cable management.

When Carter is off the clock, he is likely out camping, four wheeling, in the gym or catching up on the latest marvel movies "except deadpool".
